The Classroom Blog
Explore the links in the Classroom Blogs section. In a classroom blog the majority of the posts are created by the teacher. A classroom blog can increase the amount of communication and collaboration that takes place in a classroom, and is also a powerful tool for assessment. There are many uses for a classroom blog. Among them are:
- Sharing classroom news.
- Posting links for students.
- Posting writing prompts.
- Posting media like digital images & videos.

Create Your Own
Check out the educator blogs to see how they are using blogs outside of the classroom. A personal blog that you write your reflections in is another option for starting your own blog.
Create your own blog by going to www.blogger.com (click the link). Think of a title (this will become part of your URL address), who your audience is, and the purpose of your blog.
